The Jazz Gallery Presents: Fabian Almazan Trio

This Thursday, the Fabian Almazan Trio makes its long-awaited return to The Jazz Gallery. With bassist Linda May Han Oh and drummer Henry Cole, Almazan’s trio has cultivated an expansive palette and flexible groove. Their last album, This Land Abounds With Life (Biophilia) from 2019, includes live electronic processing and field recordings from Cuba to evoke the shifting layers of a healthy ecosystem.

For Thursday’s Gallery performance, the trio will be playing a book of new compositions. Don’t miss this acclaimed group take the first steps in its next musical direction.
